2. We were bummed in July when subMercer -- the cool little nightclub in the basement of the Mercer Hotel -- closed abruptly. It was one of the few NYC spots were you could hear great music from talented DJs that usually don't get to spin in the more commercial mega-clubs. On Sunday, September 23, starting around 9 p.m., most of the DJs that kept the place jumping will be re-uniting for one night down at Santos Party House (96 Lafayette Street).
