Construction is underway in Warsaw, Poland on what will become the world's most narrow abode, measuring a slim 47 inches at its widest point and a mere 27 inches at its narrowest.  Known as Keret House, the dwelling has been designed by Polish architect Jakub Szczesny but the owner remains unknown. Architizer says the place "aims to attract artists, writers, and other young innovators" who can take advantage of the house as an "artist's residence and art installation space." For those whose lives are spartan enough to move in, they'll find "remote control stairs [that] will flatten against a wall and pop out when needed for use" and "an independent, boat-inspired water and sewage system separate from the city," according to Architizer. Check out digital renderings of the exterior and interior, above and below.
