A late entry into the contentious Song of the Summer competition, this excellent flip of Next's seminal 1997 hit "Too Close" has taken the worldwide weebs by storm, providing a slew of excellent remixes capitalizing on our collective goldfish-sized attention spans. Below we present you with our round-up of the Internet's best, worst and weirdest "Why You Lying" remixes, featuring everything from a chiptune jingle to a Jersey club reboot. Not digging the Korean? Here's a quickie for all you Latin-lovers out there. Like his Korean cohort, he also keeps in character with a lovely blue shirt.
"Stop Fuckin Lyin" -- Maxo
Electronic QT Maxo remixed the meme (of course) and gave it his signature candy-coated, bubblegum spin. Chock full of bouncy castle synths and turbo-charged arpeggios, it's a banger for sure.
"Why The Fuck You Lying" (90X Remix) -- 90X
So it's a little off-tempo at times, but 90X gives the tune an admirable try. Granted, the combination of dramatic piano line and strange deep-club bass is quite, uh, unexpected, but you know...A for effort.
"Why The Fuck You Lying" (Pocari Remix) -- Pocari
Whoa, sludge alert. Fuzz it down a couple more notches and you've got a veritable Fraser-goes-drone tune. I'm not really sure what to think of this one, but hey, if you wanna do druuuGgggGgs this gem's probably your best bet.
