One of the highlights at this year's Tribeca Film Festival is the New York premiere of Misery Loves Comedy, a documentary by Kevin Pollak that looks at the route beloved funny people like Judd Apatow, Amy Schumer, Larry David, Jimmy Fallon and more took to achieve comedy success. We've got an exclusive clip from the film featuring Judd Apatow talking about interviewing Jerry Seinfeld and Harold Ramis as a teenager...just for his own edification. "I would go to where they were with an enormous tape recorder from the AV squad and I would lie and say it was a real radio station and when I got there, a child had just shown up and they would realize they just got duped," he says. "But they would talk to me anyways because they were really nice." It's a delightful little anecdote and even includes some great '80s-era photos of a babyfaced Judd chilling with his comedy heroes.

Misery Loves Comedy is currently available on iTunes and will screen at the IFC Center on April 24th.
