Adult Swim mostly deals out its druggy, gaudy, nightmarish brilliance in 11-minute doses, but tonight it will present a full hour of perhaps its most durable animated series, The Venture Bros. (Sorry, Master Shake.) To the uninitiated, The Venture Bros. is something like Johnny Quest on acid, with characters like Dr. Mrs. the Monarch, who looks like Jackie O. and talks like a New England linebacker. You kind of just have to see it -- and consider that, with its lovingly rendered Hanna-Barbera look, and with Stephen Colbert, Bill Hader, James Urbaniak and other comedy luminaries lending their voices over the last 12 years, you're in good hands.
