Archeologists found what they believe to be the world's oldest bra (pictured above) in an Austrian castle, created between 1390 and 1485. That pushes the earliest date for this kind of underwear back about 500 years. And FYI, these very old bras are referred to as "breastbags."[via Jezebel]

We love this "doomsday collection" from Central Saint Martins grad Minki Cheng. Cheng used waterproof, heat-proof and radiation-proof fabrics, and the clothes feature plastic fur, translucent scales and all manner of crazy things. [via Dezeen]

See Joan Smalls visit Laura Jane Grace -- the trans rocker and lead singer of punk band Against Me! -- for House of Style 2.0. We love her dialogue with Smalls and would kill for her old Dead Kennedys t-shirt. [via The Cut]

At this point most of us have noticed the "Cash Rules Everything Around Me" in the East Village. JvdF has collaborated with Faust, maker of said mural, on a new line of iPhone cases which feature the cynical catch phrase. The cases are hand-graffitied and all profits will be donated to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. [via Press Release]
