Buzzy girl band TEEN, fronted by former Here We Go Magic keyboard player Teeny Lieberson, have had quite the busy year releasing their debut album In Limbo and playing shows with Purity Ring, Ariel Pink, and Santigold. The foursome, which includes Teeny's two sisters, Lizzie and Katherine, along with friend Jane Herships create dreamy, New Wave-esque harmonies and psych-pop hooks that seem particularly well suited to accompany a super-hip laser light show (book 'em now, Knockdown Center!). The band recently joined forces with DJ Japanster -- the Paris-born DJ who's been making rounds of his own, playing sets at MoMA PopRally parties, Fashion Week fêtes and "The Cools" Jamboree Party -- who remixed one of In Limbo's tracks, "Electric."
