No, this photo's not pixelated -- that wall is part of a 90-square-foot Brooklyn apartment belonging to Snarkitecture partner Daniel Arsham (whose company, incidentally, has mad sand castle-building skills) and covered with 25,000 ping pong balls. Part-residence, part-art project (Arsham has entitled the work "Box/Box"), the living space is attached to the firm's offices and accessible via the ladder seen (we think) in the photo above. What's more, Arsham painted all of the balls by hand (lest you think you can buy these grayscale orbs for your next game of beer pong) and sprayed them with fire retardant.
