Roz Chast, who we like to think of as the patron saint of neurotic New Yorkers, has a show up the Julie Saul Gallery opening tomorrow. The legendary New Yorker cartoonist will be exhibiting recent cartoons, as well as a new series of hand-hooked rugs. Below, a selection of the incredible rugs, featuring her signature birds, "Eli" and "Marco," as well as some classic, jittery types.
