Jonas Brothers told
Billboard Magazine that they are hard at work on a new album and are "about 10 or 11 songs in, probably close to some sort of body of music." No word on a release date, but maybe we'll hear some new tunes when they play Radio City Music Hall on October 11. [via

3. New York artist
Leo Villareal debuts his gigantic tribute to
Buckminster Fuller in Madison Square Park on October 25. The light sculpture,
"Buckyball," is made from 180 LED tubes arranged in a honeycomb pattern. Multicolored honeycombs are, apparently, a new trend as they're also incorporated in the new Bleecker Street subway transfer station. [via
