Garbage's "Big Bright World" Is Our Music Video of the Day

In Garbage's latest music video, "Big Bright World," which was directed by Julie Orser (who was also behind their mini-film "Control," which premiered exclusively on PAPERMAG this spring), we see (and hear) singer Shirley Manson in gothic, black-and-white clips featuring images of graveyards, wilting flowers and Manson wrapped in a veil.  Just as you get used to these dark scenes, however, beautiful bursts of color shoot onto the screen, including many shots of a woman swimming underwater in a red dress.  It's a gorgeously-directed video and, much like the album the song comes from, Not Your Kind of People, proves that Garbage is as good as ever.
