7. A forthcoming installation by artist Tatzu Nishi will let visitors up scaffolding and into a room erected around NYC's Columbus statue. Though it will only remain open for less than two months from September 20-November 18, it has already drawn criticism by members of the Italian American community who say it "disrespects the explorer's legacy."
