One can never have too many sunglasses and my latest shade obsession is L.G.R., a fave of the style elite like Mario Testino, Pucci designer Peter Dundas (who used the label in the Pucci show) and countless Italian celebs including DJ Marco Carola. Chicissimo! The latest cool cat to sport their popular "Tripoli frame" is Foster the People's Mark Pontius. And if that wasn't fancy enough, L.G.R. also just released a collab with the king of minimal French fashion, APC. L.G.R. designer Luca Gnecchi Ruscone (say that name three times fast with a perfect Italian accent, please) explains the Tripoli's allure: "That frame is a statement sunglass and is usually selected by people who are very bold and style conscious. The silhouette is cool yet simple, making it stand out from other overly designed frames." And that's exactly why I'm typing this blog while sporting a pair of Tripolis.
