The trendiest place to see and be seen during
Art Basel Miami Beach has just moved from the W South Beach to the
SLS Hotel. The shell of the old Ritz-Plaza (1701 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach) has been transformed by
Sam Nazarian and
Philippe Starck (with a little help from
Lenny Kravitz) and it just opened today. Celeb chef
José Andrés runs the food and beverage service, including a branch of LA's
The Bazaar, a
Katsuya sushi restaurant and a "food truck" out by the pool. Check out a few more of the renderings and photos floating around below and then go ahead and book your suite
HERE. (Since we prefer something a little more low-key, we'll still be staying at the
Standard Miami.)
