Yes, it's Internet Week here in NYC.  It's also the week the annual International Contemporary Furniture Fair comes to town and, along with it, numerous satellite shows and parties.  The four-day ICFF starts tomorrow, Saturday, May 19, at Jacob Javits Convention Center and features 550 exhibitors from 31 countries.  This year, convention goers are in for a real treat because the opening night party on Saturday is being held at Tom Sachs' mind-boggling installation "Space Program: Mars" in the Park Avenue Armory (643 Park Avenue) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $50 and they include an open bar and hors d' oeuvres.

Also, one of the more interesting ICFF satellite shows, Model Citizens NYC, is back for a fourth year with over
100 international designers of furniture, products, ceramics, glass, textiles, home decor, art objects and jewelry. This three-day exhibition and pop-up market will be held from May 19 to 21 in SoHo at 52 Mercer Street, 4th Floor.  It's open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily; admission is free.

You've probably heard that our friends at Moss moved up to our neighborhood in midtown and opened a "by appointment only" new venture called Moss Bureau (256 West 36th Street, 10th floor). Starting tonight they're presenting "Midway," featuring a "circus performance" with a Ferris wheel and carousel made by Cathy McClure, plus works by several other artists including Kelly McCallum and Jennifer Trask. Here are all the details, but remember, you must RSVP.

Over at the Bleecker Street Theater (45 Bleecker Street) there's an exhibit of several works by UK designer Tom Dixon plus yummy Stumptown coffee. And, finally, at the Standard East Village -- who we hear just got community board approval for several much-needed changes --  there's a showcase of several designers from the West Coast called "Hotel California."
