Apparently the hottest new skin product amongst the celebrity set is an anti-aging snail goop serum for your neck and chest called Contour Décolleté -- and it comes via Kim K's very own skin guru, Dr. Harold Lancer.

Already lauded by the likes of Victoria Beckham as her new "must have" item, one does have to wonder if rubbing snail sludge on one's boobs actually works. After all, the serum, made from Marine Cone snail venom, makes some pretty big claims -- saying it will almost instantaneously reduce fine lines, wrinkles and plump up crinkly skin texture.

So in the name of investigative reporting, two Daily Mail reporters along with one of their mothers, tried out the snail-y serum for exactly one week -- and while the general consensus was that the serum actually does do what it claims (Soft, supple skin! No more fine lines!), at $185 for 1.7 ounces the upkeep is probably only feasible if your pockets are as deep as the Kardashians'.

My new "must have" @drlancerrx love it! X vb

TBH, sounds nice, but we'd advise just buying a nicer moisturizer. Bummer.
