Shuffle Culture at BAM
Ahmir "Questlove," Thompson, Roots drummer extraordinare, celebrates our "shuffle culture" with an playlist-esque concert at BAM. In addition to Questlove, tonight's lineup includes Jeremy Ellis, Sasha Grey, D.D. Jackson, Rahzel, Kenny Muhammad, Deerhoof, Willis Earl Beal, Gray, and the Metropolis Ensemble, who will be performing a "kinetic mix of songs and sounds from unexpected musical bedfellows."

Yuri's Night NYC Presents Imagining Space
At this annual tribute to Yuri Gagarin, the first human to enter outer space, performance artist James Vogel and performance philosopher Jason Silva will be musing on the concept of "Imagining Space." The festivities are taking place at the National Arts Club, which always adds a little glitz and glam to any event.
