In a gorgeous collision between the art world and fashion, Max Mara is teaming up with artist William Wegman to put on a special exhibition of his Dogs in Coats series that was originally commissioned by the label back in 2001. Wegman's original photographs make use of his signature Weimaraners as fashion models, bringing an element of whimsical play to the elegant stoicism of the coat. Max Mara will also be making an extremely-limited run of the iconic camel-colored 101801 coat worn in the photos and will be accompanied by a postcard of the Wegman work. The show will debut in Boston and travel to Manhasset, Troy, Chicago, New York, Toronto, Short Hills, San Francisco, Houston, and Waikiki this fall.
