Shake out some pre-holiday jitters by dancing the night away to the tunes of the Godfather of Soul, aka the one and only James Brown. Nickodemus, Nappy G, $mall ¢hange and special guests will be manning the decks, playing funky jams by (and inspired by) Soul Brother Number One all night long.

A Christmas Story at Nitehawk Cinemas
To be honest, we were never really obsessed with this ostensibly iconic Christmas movie -- we were more of a It's a Wonderful Life/Garfield's Christmas Special kinda gal. But we know that the kids love this one, and as a fun treat, the folks at Williamsburg movie theater/restaurant/bar are screening it tonight at midnight.

Tonight's edition of artist/DJ/Santos co-owner Spencer Sweeney's Friday night party, Spencer's GIFs, features a special performance by 2010 PAPER Beautiful Person, No Bra, aka Susanne Oberbeck. The no-wave techno singer, who usually performs not only without a bra, but also without a shirt, got her start in Berlin's underground electro scene, and graces SPH with her presence this evening.
