For the first time ever, it'll be possible to stream a movie on Facebook the same day it hits theaters. Starting at midnight on, naturally, 4/20, Bob Marley fans can pay $6.99 to watch Academy Award-winning director Kevin Macdonald's new documentary, Marley, which was made with the unprecedented support of the late singer's family and includes rare footage, archival photos, performance clips and interviews with Marley's family, friends and bandmates. A portion of the film's Facebook sales will also go to benefit Save the Children.
Plus, there's the added benefit that by watching the flick on your computer, you can forgo exorbitantly priced movie popcorn and indulge in your own Marley-themed treats (ifyouknowwhatwemean) from the comfort of a bean bag chair instead.
