Alterna-prince Ryan Adams wasn't messing around when he announced that he was recording a super-sad version of Taylor Swift's 1989.

Tracking his progress of late on his social channels, Adams posted to instagram last night that the entire 1989 cover is mixed and offered up two snippets of his takes on Swift's "Blank Space" and "Style."

Hopefully this thing comes out soon - Calvin Harris needs something sensi to listen to while he licks his Zayn-shaped wounds in his knickers.
