Lil B and Chance the Rapper had been teasing a collaborative mixtape for a minute now, but knowing them (and anything about the rate at which rappers claim collaborations are going to happen), skepticism was the appropriate reaction. But now, the tape actually exists, and it is glorious. A somehow very consciously half-polished work that still sounds good and fun and has, like, a beat from Thundercat, it's just a great surprise for the middle of your week (especially if you missed hearing Lil B actually go in and rap).
