The Hello Kitty movie you've always wanted (but mysteriously never had) is officially in the works -- and will be screening just in time to celebrate her 45th birthday.
According to reports, the iconic cartoon cat/global cute ambassador/serialfashioncollaborator is finally getting her very own film adaptation set for...2019. And while that's a whiles away, it's bound to be a good one, as Sanrio has purportedly formed their own Sanrio Media & Pictures Entertainment organization to spearhead the $200+ million effort. Talk about some fat cats.
