Janet Jackson, who hasn't released an album since 2008, announced last night in a video she shared on twitter that she has new music planned for this year. In the 50-second clip, she promises "new music, a new world tour, a new movement" in her signature breathy whisper. Ms. Jackson, for the nasty, turns 49 today.
