The Swedish indie band uses a decidedly American setting--we assume it was shot somewhere in the desert on the West Coast--in their panoramic new video for "The Wave" (and, yes, the video size is meant to be like that). The vid never fully explains what's happening--an explosion, a field strewn with dead girls, synchronized cops swaying--but we're pretty sure we'll have nightmares after seeing the distorted, prosthetic nose-sporting hipster-ninjas that descend on the eerie scene.
The song is featured on the band's sophomore album, Happy to You, which was released yesterday on iTunes and will officially come out at the end of the month. Miike Snow continues touring the U.S. through early May with shows at SXSW this week and Coachella in April, among others.
