We're looking for highly-motivated, pop culture-obsessed writers to join the PAPER online team. Full-Time Editorial Staff
Note: This is an on-staff and in-office position with salary and health insurance. Title and salary contingent on experience.
Responsibilities include:
-Writing 4-5 blog posts daily
-Occasionally editing freelancer and intern-written work
-Writing magazine articles as needed
-Pitching ideas for online and print during our weekly editorial meetings
-Assisting in posting to the PAPER Twitter and Facebook feeds
Qualifications:
-Applicant should ideally have 1-2 years minimum prior experience writing and reporting either on-staff or freelance
-Applicant should be well-versed in all relevant pop culture news of the day and have an interest in discovering up-and-coming bands, artists, filmmakers, actors, designers and more
-Applicant should ideally have experience posting across several social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram especially)
-Strong writing background a must
Part-Time Contributing Editor
