We're not sure what's going on with Blink-182 right now. First we see on Twitter that Tom DeLonge has indefinitely left the band and read statements from Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker confirming the news, then we get a frazzled email from his publicist emphatically telling us that the guitarist DID NOT quit the band and now the pendulum has swung back with a blistering interview between Hoppus and Barker and Rolling Stone that calls their ex-bandmate "disrespectful" and "ungrateful," among other things and says there's "no ambiguity" about the fact that he left Blink-182.

Well, whatever is going on in DC Shoe-wearing, SoCal-vibing, Blink-182 land, we can at least take some solace with this new cover of their 1999 smash, "All the Small Things," by PC Music producer GFOTY. Like much of what the collective of anonymous UK-based producers pump out, this version is glitchy, pop-y and features vocals that sound like they're from a member of B*witched. The cover is part of a larger mix from GFOTY called "Cake," which the producer says was inspired by the following:

"Basically Cake Mix was created after I got with this really hot guy who had a GF - I mean, I thought he was hot at the time but in reality he looks like that really weird bloated face when your making a Mii character on your Wii - you know the one yeah? It's kinda just about me stealing people's boyfriends and being abnormally huge. This one guy on Twitter said he saw me out once and I was way smaller then he imagined and to 'never meet your heroes' or something like that and I mean like I'm 169cms (5’5”) and I wear high shoes all the time too so like HOW TALL DID HE WANT ME TO BE? So I guess - yeah it's kinda inspired by that guy on Twitter primarily. So I guess cake has nothing to do with the mix apart from me making cakes and stuff."
The cover starts around the 9:35 mark and you can give it a listen, above. Also be sure to send positive thoughts to the boys of Blink. Let's hope they figure that shit out.
