The third installment of an ongoing collaboration between Ariel Pink and director Grant Singer, "Dayzed Inn Daydreams" is also the darkest -- more of a short film than a video, one that is actually, when you think about it, Darren Aronosfsky's The Wrestler boiled down to five minutes, with beefy Micky Rourke replaced by impossibly lank Rick Wilder, frontman of the long-lost L.A. rock band the Mau-Mau's. Both men don supermarket aprons by day and shine their dying lights on whoever will pay attention at night (cue Ariel Pink cameo), and both are desperately in need of what Wilder mutters in the video's last shot.

Watch "Dayzed Inn Daydreams" above and the two other Pink/Singer videos here and here.
