Piper Perabo Celebrates the Opening of her Second Jack's Wife Freda Location

You might think adorable actress Piper Perabo hasn't had much food and beverage experience since starring in Coyote Ugly but last week she added full-blown restaurant mogul to her resume with the opening of the second location of her restaurant with Maya and Dean Jankelowitz, Jack's Wife Freda (she's also an investor in West Village cocktail bar favorite, Employees Only). The new location in the West Village mirrors the cozy, old-fashioned atmosphere of the original on Lafayette Street and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Groups of 6 or more can reserve but otherwise it's all about walking-in. They serve a mix of comfort classics with exotic additions in a style New York Magazine called 'South African Israeli Jewish Grandmother Cuisine'. Perabo hosted the opening night on Thursday and welcome a ton of well-dressed creatives who table hopped and nibbled vegetable cous cous, greek salad and burgers.
