As far as ads go, Devonté Hynes' (Blood Orange) Gap spot is beautiful -- and very cool. That's mainly due to artist Alex Da Corte's magical thinking and visually striking set. Previously, Hynes and Da Corte collaborated with Jayson Musson for the trippy video installation Eastern Sports, which shares a similar aesthetic.
In the clip for "It Is What It Is," Devonté Hynes brilliantly demonstrates Gap's "Play Your Stripes," a technology that turns your stripey clothing into a musical instrument. Watch the wonderfully striped video, above.
