While we were all busy celebrating Halloween, HBO quietly released the first preview of Girls season 4 on Friday. The season picks up right where we left off, with Hannah torn between enrolling at the Iowa Writers' Workshop and leaving Adam (spoiler alert: she heads back to the Midwest and Elijah, for reasons unknown, goes with her); Marnie continuing her ill-advised singing act (and even more ill-advised affair) with Desi; Jessa seeming lost (we don't get much else to work with); and Shosh, presumably still reeling from the news that she couldn't graduate on time, trading in her cuckoo hair 'dos for a very chic 'n' sensible bob. But the best teaser we get from this two-minute clip is a cameo by Ana Gasteyer as Shosh's mom. She's in full Chico's mode and seems like a real ballbuster. Other cameos hinted throughout the preview are ones by Zachary Quinto, Gillian Jacobs and Marc Maron. No word on the exact date the new season will premiere but it'll be sometime in 2015. Can't. wait.
