With a week to go before the miderm elections, several of the celebs we'd most like to be friends with (think: Sia, Alexa Chung, Melissa Auf der Maur, Joan Jett, Max Greenfield, Jemima Kirke, Carrie Brownstein, Tavi, Natasha Lyonne, and many, many more) have made a PSA 'Get Out the Vote' video. Spearheaded by a production company called The Department of Peace (Sarah Sophie Flicker, Tennessee Thomas, Maximilla Lukacs, Rebecca Fernandez and Jorjee Douglass), who, you'll recall, created another excellent PSA before the 2012 presidential election set to Lesley Gore's classic, "You Don't Own Me," the video features these stars dancing and lip syncing to Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation." In the spirit of Jett's feminist message, the clip draws our attention to the fact that "in 2013, there were more laws passed to limit women's reproductive rights than in the entire previous decade," according to a press release, and encourages everyone to get to the polls to elect officials who will fight for women's reproductive rights.
