They only recorded two albums and by 1992 the UK trio had broken up. The band originally wanted Prince to produce their album and, in fact, did record at his Paisley Park Studios, but they worked with the Minneapolis-born session guitarist, David Z, instead. The video won MTV's Video of the Year Award in 1989 and was directed by Philippe Decoufle.
