Over the weekend, Childish Gambino -- whose Wu Tang-generated rap persona will be forever amended with "AKA Donald Glover" -- released a belated video for his Because the Internet single, "Telegraph Ave."
The video for "Telegraph Ave" seems to be in celebration of his latest mixtape STN MTN / Kaui. Filmed on the Hawiian island of Kauai -- nowhere near Oakland, let alone Telegraph Avenue -- the music video features Jhené Aiko and Gambino in full-on tropical regalia. But what starts out as an atmospheric, romantic getaway soon turns into a dark, Japanese horror film scenario. Watch the video, above.
