SBTRKT's Animated Video For "New Dorp. New York." Is Fucking Cool

Lots of reasons to check out the latest clip from SBTRKT -- not even counting the fact that's it's way f*#$ing cool! The artist behind the ceremonial masks prefers his anonymity, but I don't think we're spilling any beans by saying he's a British dude named Aaron Jerome; and this song, "New Dorp. New York." is off his second album, Wonder Where We Land, out this week. SBTRKT has been working with a really diverse group of collaborators this time around including A$AP Ferg, Jessie Ware, Caroline Polachek and, here, you'll recognize the voice of Ezra Koenig from Vampire Weekend. The noir, animated clip was created by the acclaimed Dutch director/artist Fons Schiedon. BTW: In case you were wondering, New Dorp is a neighborhood on New York City's Staten Island.
