Though Serkan Sarier's budding line Brood usually postpones its show until after Paris Fashion Week, Sarier put himself on the New York Fashion Week calender for the first time this season. And we're so glad we didn't have to wait to see his work. The former assistant to Olivier Theyskens and Emanuel Ungaro featured sporty designs in an abstract, swirled pattern based on work by artist Glenn Brow, as well as shimmering, gold knits with cinched, draw-string silhouettes.
