When it comes to truly over-the-top American luxury, no one in fashion can match the legendary Ralph Lauren. Ralph also showed he's in touch with pop culture this morning when he presented a show inspired by the outrageously popular period-soap Downton Abbey, centered around the fabulous, wealthy Crawley family circa WWI. The opening looks were pure Edwardian country life -- tweeds, argyle socks, knickers and walking sticks. The opening music was even the theme from the show!
It seems no one is immune to the charms of Downton. Even Ralph!
