Hey ladies! (And all you male Beastie Boys fans, too.) Tomorrow, May 3rd, is MCA Day. It's been two years since Adam Yauch passed away, and Saturday is the big day that organizers describe as an event "born from a global community built on gratitude to celebrate his life." Here in NYC, people are already out in Union Square and Washington Square to honor MCA, and tomorrow you can head over to Adam Yauch Park (27 State Street, Brooklyn Heights) and then go to Littlefield (622 Degraw Street, Brooklyn) in Gowanus and fight for your right to party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There's gonna be music, art, performances and "a boombox." Share the love, yo.
