No release date has been announced for the film, but Warpaint's new, self-titled album came out yesterday -- ample time for a bruising Pitchfork review and a rave from Chvrches frontwoman Lauren Mayberry via The Talkhouse. Here, Cunningham layers his own mix of the song "Love is to Die" over some serene shots of the band in the studio and the desert. Can't say I miss those marauding hell-children.
