Older men dating much younger women is of course nothing new, from the hills of Hollywood to the suburbs of the Midwest, but we noticed that perhaps in an attempt to dodge hosts Tina Fey, Amy Poehler's jabs these three nominees left their inappropriately-aged girlfriends at home (did we call it, or did we call it?) and brought their moms as their dates instead.

Leo, who picked up his second Golden Globe for The Wolf of Wall Street, almost escaped any mention of the fact that he uses the Victoria's Secret runway as his own personal pickup hot spot, but much to his dismay, Tina and Amy worked his modelizing into the best intro of the night. Unfortunately though, they couldn't pan to his latest model GF -- the 21-year-old Toni Garrn -- for her reaction since he brought his mom, Irmelin as his date.

After Joaquin Phoenix's new 19-year-old DJ girlfriend Allie Teilz got carded at Her's premiere in New York he probably thought it best that he bring his mom, Arlyn to the Golden Globes instead of risking the chances of getting thrown out of the after party after Allie tried to use her Greenwich Village special on security. Girl, you gotta make sure it has that hologram!
