Guess what? Parquet Courts is going to be on Jimmy Fallon tonight, January 9th, and you'd better get stoned and watch. They were one of our "bands you need to see" at SXSW last year and some of you probably weren't paying attention. So here's a clip of the boys playing their big hit -- at least it's a big hit around our office -- "Stoned & Starving." It was shot by KEXP down in Austin at Mellow Johnny's Bike Shop. This might be the first and only song that gives a shout-out to Ridgewood, Queens.
