An Emoji Art Show Heads to Eyebeam Art+Technology Center

Featuring works by artists that include Genevieve Belleveau, Jeanette Hayes, Maya Ben-Ezer and Fahad Alhunaif that span mediums like digital prints, sculptures, video and performance art, the exhibit aims to address themes like "emotional ambiguity, symbology and visual communication," according to the press release. We got to peep a few pieces early -- check them out above and below and head over to Eyebeam before the show closes on Saturday, December 14. On the 14th, the show will also host a panel discussion titled "I Have No Words: Emoji And The New Visual Vernacular."
