It was all in the Paper family Wednesday night, when our market director Luigi Tadini and designer Robert James (husband d' our own Michele Lindsay) hosted the
menswear boutique By Robert James' grand-opening party. The
3,500-square-foot, three-story shop is one of the largest menswear stores in
the LES. and, though we might be a smidge biased, it was one of the funnest store openings we've been to in a while. DJ El Dorado was spinning on the ones and twos and Brian Newman
Quintet performed with a special burlesque show by Gal Friday. Throw in the fried pickles and sliders form nearby Interstate Food & Liquor and drinks by Bombay East
Gin and let's just say we were all hurting a little Thursday morning. In a good way, of course.
