We've profiled some amazing folks over the years for our Beautiful People issue -- just looking through our first BP issue from 1997 shows what a knack we have for predicting just who's about to blow up. (If we do say so ourselves.) Case in point: Amy Sedaris. Her comedy series Strangers with Candy and multiple craft books make her a household name now, but in '97 she was a still relatively obscure downtown theater darling.
