Vivienne Westwood isn't fond of Michelle Obama's style. She told Eric Wilson: "Don't talk about her. It's dreadful what she wears....I don't want to talk about it. Really, I can't. She's a very nice looking lady, but it's a nonstarter regarding clothes that suit her." [via Fashionista]
This iamOTHER video, in which Ryan Hall walks around East London interviewing people about differences in style between hipsters and chavs (the OED definition is here for you non-Brits), is a funny and interesting look at how those subcultures can start to blur. [via HypeBeast]
Cathy Horyn weighed in on the Saint Laurent show and (obviously) didn't like it, writing: "Controversy is good for Saint Laurent. But...in terms of design, the clothes held considerably less value than a box of Saint Laurent labels. Without the label attached to them, Mr. Slimane's grunge dresses wouldn't attract interest -- because they're not special. But a box of labels is worth a million. Hermès stands in sharp contrast to the Saint Laurent show and its lazy values."
Kate Moss may very well cover the 60th anniversary issue of Playboy. NowThisNews obtained an internal memo which states that Moss will be shot by Mert and Marcus and styled by W's Alex White this week in London. We like the idea of Kate doing the cover, if only because it'll be more fashion-y than the vast majority of recent Playboy spreads. [via Fashionista]
Irony of ironies: Tanning Mom (aka Patricia Krentcil, the woman who made everyone mad after taking her 5-year-old daughter to tanning booths) is making a self-tanning lotion. For the record, she's also "modeling." [via The Cut]
Nicki Minaj designed a couture collection...for her perfume bottles. And we don't mean that there are different styles on each bottle -- these are outfits that are sold separately and meant to be put on the bottles. Yes, we know you're face-palming right now. [via MTV Style]
If only we'd been at the Moncler show in Paris! As you can see above, models hugged men in polar bear suits and apparently there were cute-looking huskies on the loose! [via Fashionista]
