Today Miuccia Prada released a few sketches of the costumes she designed for Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby. Prada previously worked with Luhrmann on Romeo + Juliet, designing Leonardo DiCaprio's suit which he wears throughout the film. In this one, the designer collaborated with costumer Catherine Martin, and created 40 looks for the film that heavily reference the extensive Miu Miu and Prada archives. The resulting designs include shimmering gowns and flapper-style sequined dresses and celebrate the classic styles of the 1920's while maintaining a modern edge. We can't wait to see these looks on the big screen and are betting you'll see a lot of flapper looks this summer.
