DANCE: The Nutcracker: Rated R at (le) poisson rouge
Do you sometimes imagine essential ballet The Nutcracker by way of a seedy burlesque show? Perhaps a Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy choreographed by Bob Fosse? Look no further than Angela Harriell's Nutcracker: Rated R, presented by David F. Slone and The Love Show. In this adult take on the childhood classic, young Claudia goes through a wondrous journey in a sex and drug fueled New York fantasy land. A nice change of pace from a night at the ballet?
