If you've never heard of French duo Total Warr, here's a few reasons why you should put them on your radars:

1) They were inspired to write and record their first EP, Cascades, after a trip to Euro Disney with their respective girlfriends.
2) Their names are Kiki and Guigui.
3) They have a delightful photo stream on Facebook that almost exclusively shows photos of the two of them being silly together.

Aside from these slightly peripheral reasons, however, the main reason you should check out the band is for their complex -- yet pop-friendly -- soundscapes. Layering clusters of synths, drum machines and assorted other noises -- including the robotic bleeps and whirs currently in vogue along with more ambiguous sounds like the crunching of potato chips or popcorn -- with catchy lyrical hooks, Total Warr's music can be favorably compared to bands like Delorean,Yeasayer, MGMT and Animal Collective. We're pleased to announce that the band will return with their fourth EP, Loisy, out January 29. The three-track disc includes a song featuring guest vocals by The Death Set's Johnny Siera and a cover of the Pixies' "Where Is My Mind."

The dudes have released a music video for the latter track, which we're excited to exclusively premiere above. The clip features the duo jamming in a basement -- and switching hairdos -- as the room gradually turns into a full-blown rager complete with a DIY Daft Punk look-alike. "The party scene was shot during a real party with all our friends, and I promise this isn't fake," Kiki told us. "My apartment was a TOTAL mess after the party!" After trolling your Facebook, we believe you, Kiki.

Check out the video above.
