Take a look at "My New Flame," fantastic digital candles by engineer Moritz Waldemeyer
for legendary lighting designer Ingo Maurer. Primarily composed of a thin strip of circuit board, the "candle" uses 128 tiny LED lights to create a realistic-looking flickering flame image. They launched in New York last week at Maurer's NY showroom -- where the designer himself was even in attendance -- and are currently available for purchase.
