If you hung on every word of Ms. Kantor's juicy Michelle Obama piece in this past weekend's New York Times, stop by Barnes & Noble tonight, where the esteemed journalist discusses her new tome, The Obamas. She's been covering Barack and Michelle since 2007, and her book zooms in on the First Marriage like none before it.

Barnes & Noble, 2289 Broadway. 7 p.m. Free.

King Krule at Mercury Lounge

Seventeen-year-old, carrot-topped musical wunderkind King Krule, aka Archy Marshall, brings his ethereal, melancholic ditties to the Mercury Lounge tonight, a few weeks following the release of his self-titled True Panther EP.

Mercury Lounge, 217 E. Houston St. 10 p.m. $15.

Just Me and You screens + a Q&A with Louise Lasser at the 92Y Tribeca

Louise Lasser (Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman star; former wife/muse of Woody Allen; the mother in Todd Solondz's Happiness) will be live and in person tonight at the 92Y Tribeca, following a screening of 1978's Just Me and You, which she wrote and starred in. The made-for-TV film, also starring Charles Grodin, follows the two of them as an odd-couple on a road trip across America.

92Y Tribeca, 200 Hudson St. 8 p.m. $12.
